there is one that doesn t feel like they fit, but these girls live for each other, it s a nice thing to see Hannah and Owen are both strong people and both have other priorities, they have a history and sometimes that is something you can t get over This season is a difficult one at the camp, but it also makes great reading Do not miss this series and Jill Sanders has written pure gold My review will be live on donnasbookblog on 18th February 2020 publication day I thought that this was a little slow to start but definitely keep reading and it gets quite good All the characters worked well together and it turned out to be a good romance and whodunnit I thought that the story was well planned put and it had a great flow as soon as I got in to the story. It is 4 stars from me for this one, I really enjoyed it 4.25 The Wildflowers are back, and Summer Secrets sets a whole different tone, as unlike the previous stories this one picks up after Summer Heat ends, with Owen having left mystery surrounding dad Leo s disappearance was finally resolved Plus with plenty of character growth and an enjoyable, sweet romance between main characters Hannah and Owen not to mention lots of time spent with the rest of the Wildflowers I was easily entertained and I m certainly looking forward to readingfrom this series in the future Would happily recommend I was kindly provided with an ARC via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review An engaging and at times an exciting story This was my first experience with the Wildflowers I did not feel lost I liked Hannah and Owen Their family issues were interesting While the bad guys were obvious, that didn t detract from the desire to see why and when the problems would be revealed and solved I skipped over the intimate details Thanks to the publisher for providing a copy via NetGalley. element of Hannah s story is explained in a prologue, and then we catch up I have to admit I found it a little clunky, but as I knew the previous installments, maybe it was just because it was known to me Once the story picks up in current time it was excellent and I read it pretty much in one sitting Hannah has a truly awful set of parents just wait until you realise just how unpleasant they are The fact that she knows this and has come to terms with it as best as any child can does not make their behaviour any less repugnant Her true family are the four sisters that she met at camp aged 11, and who now live and work together I love how their adults only camp has grown into a reality, and after stopping the worst swinging excesses, they are making a fabulous success of running the camp It may be a little slow at generating serious income, but it is a wonderful place to work, and once again is saving Hannah from the unhappiness of being in her family business As any fan will know the Costa brothers have been trying to find their father, and save their business He has now finally turned up, and the drama unfolds in some very unexpected ways I did guess at the perpetrator, but enjoyed the tension which was developed through the story So many times I had to stop reading for a second or two, as I did not want anything bad to happen to someone I cared about On occasion my wishes came true, on others I had to just buckle up and cope with the ride that Sanders delivered I loved the descriptions of the two big parties, and how Hannah created the illusions needed to pull off a really memorable party It was fun to catch up with fantastic Chef, Isaac, and most of all see Owen and Hannah get the very best HEA that they deserve The brothers may now all be spoken for but there are still two Wildflowers who deserve their HEA too so I am very much looking forward to future installments Usually books in series with a different couple tend to be stand alone and therefore easy to jump into the middle without feeling left behind This is not the case with Summer Secrets The story felt rushed, probably because there was so much untold backstory to Hannah and Owen in the previous books that it was difficult to connect with them Perhaps also because of this, the premise was difficult to accept and therefore hard to connect with The reader is given a brief update on how
