response Never, ever go under a bridge in a tornado Get in a ditch and cover your head Even a small tornado becomesdangerous under a bridge because the strength of a bridge acts as a wind tunnel and the wind is worse under the shelter I m a little stunned that neither Eason nor her publisher nor any of the other reviewers didn t know this, sohere s a public service message I enjoyed reading this story Paige is a strong woman to be a DEA agent Dylan is at first uncomfortable with this new revelation, then decides he loves her and wants to spend as much time as possible with her Will is absolutely adorable despite his silence after witnessing a horrible crime Without giving away the end, the badman and his accomplice were not who I thought they would be Lynette Eason does an excellent job in keeping this short story suspenseful I look forward to further books I enjoyed reading this story Paige is a strong woman to be a DEA agent Dylan is at first uncomfortable with this not usually a huge fan of the Love Inspired books because they are so short and I never feel like I get enough time with the characters Sometime the romance will feel forced or rushed and the story line barely gets going and then ends But let me tell you, Lynette Eason knows how to do it I closed this book with a smile on my face and felt completely satisfied All the loose ends were tied up nicely and not only that, but the characters were deep and very well developed How does she do it I m not usually a huge fan of the Love Inspired books because they are so short and I never feel like that note, I also have to say that I did find several errors in the book I ve read almost all of Lynette s books and I think this was on the part of the publishers and editors For instance the back of the book calls the little boy, Alex, but in the book his name is Will There were also several she s instead of he s Minor, but worth mentioning if you are one to be bothered by such a thing.I m still giving it 5 Stars, because I loved it The story is about a six year old little boy who hasn t uttered a word since his mother was murdered in a house fire It s the job of undercover DEA agent, Paige Worth, to find out what happened that night The investigation takes her to the small town of Rose Mountain, Colorado, where she meet the kind hearted Dr Dylan Seabrook, suspect in her case and uncle to six year old Will Posing as a school guidance counselor, Paige finds herself in a race against the killer s with absolutely no solid evidence and no clear view It seems that the answers lay with the silent boy under his Uncle s care.Read the first chapter and then decide if you want to read the rest If you re like me, you won t be able to put it down Paige Ashworth from the DEA has arrived in Will see that night his home was burnt And what does it have to do with the drug smuggling Can Dylan be trusted, or is he involved too I loved this very fast paced, action faith filled story, it was really nice to revisit Rose Mountain Dark Obsession , the second story of the 2 in 1 book My Deadly Valentine is where we first meet the residents of Rose Mountain, telling Eli Holly s story While it doesn t have to be read first, if you re planning on readingin the Rose Mountain Refuge Series, then you ll want to add this to your collection.Note Lynette writes a letter at the end of the story explains that she had to change the little boy s name for various reasons I m guessing Will s name was originally Alex as that s the name on the back cover description for the book, makes it into the story in one place, so some last minute editing obviously went awry somewhere The story is great, so I m still giving it 5 s, but if that s something that s going to irk you, then avoid this book.Other books in Rose Mountain Refuge Series 1 My Deadly Valentine Dangerous Admirer Dark Obsession 3 Holiday Hideout dnf ed 22%Oh she got hit by a car, hit her head and had two noticeably into one book Not sure the little boy in this book would EVER get over the trauma he faced, even possibly after years of counseling Also, the author changed the name of the child before the book was published and his old name cropped up a time or two even on the back cover Maybe better editing Yet the books are clean and hold my interest, so I always enjoy readi Lynette Eason s books always keep
